June 28 Why? Let me start by saying, if you don't like this site, you can blame my mother-in-law, Kathy. She has been after me to write something, ANYTHING, for years. Since she now lives in Oregon & can't snoop for proof of my productivity, & I 'm tired of making excuses (read- fibs) for not journaling, I decided a website would solve both problems. I can stretch myself by writing for an audience (maybe), & she has proof that I do listen. Kathy has been the recipiant of my ponderings for years because she thinks I'm funny; my husband & children just think I'm strange. I suppose the truth in somewhere in between.
I've been thinking about my journey thru life lately. I've reached several major direction changes in the last year- my youngest child started high school last August; I had a hysterectomy in February; & in May after 15 years ( yes, that's right) as a part-time student, I graduated from community college with an AA in Business & an AS in Accounting. Like it or not, my life is changing & I want to change with it. I've been a fairly content woman for many years & intend on staying that way. But, I don't want to become static or stagnant. Some change is good, healthly, and minimally frightening.
